Isabel Blázquez Solano is a Risk taker. Either in the industry or in her daily life, she is known for her decision making, her capacity to put things into perspective, courage, resilience and positiveness confronting any situation.

Her main background is in the reinsurance industry where she worked analyzing risks both in Europe and LatAm for over 13 years, and worked her way up to C-Level positions in publicly traded companies.

True to her principles and values, Solano has lead several outperforming teams throughout her career. Intrigued by the unique qualities of each individual, she is a keen observer of other people’s strengths, being able to build trustworthy, endurance teams.

Her eagerness to experience different cultures, has taken her to live in different countries, as well as to travel and climb a couple of mountains.

Solano has a major in business administration in Germany and has a masters in International Management by IE in Spain and has also completed IBGC’s Corporate Governance and Board specialization.
